Managing Partner

Paudie founded O’Donnell Accountants & Business Advisors in 1995 with the aim of delivering high-quality accounting and advisory services to businesses that deserved expert support without the overhead of a large firm.

Before establishing the practice, he spent years in a large mainstream firm gaining deep accounting experience, then stepped into industry as Managing Director of a successful packaging company. That background gives him a perspective that combines technical rigour with real commercial understanding.

Over 30 years, Paudie has advised a wide range of clients from sole traders to companies of varying size, across sectors including medical, engineering, construction, hospitality, pharmaceutical, and professional services. He has also advised government bodies on financial systems development, including key roles in the financial systems used by the Department of Health's National Treatment Purchase Fund and the National Breast Screening Programme.

Our History

O’Donnell Accountants & Business Advisors was founded in Dublin in 1995. What began as a sole practice built on word-of-mouth has grown into a full-service firm with expertise across eight areas of accounting and advisory work.
The firm has operated through recessions, regulatory reform, the digitalisation of Revenue, and the rise of cloud accounting. Through all of it, the founding principles have not changed: respond quickly, speak plainly, deliver results.
